Bangerlore was so much fun. Thanks @namanski_ @neilshroff @5hroff @aye_kaash Shruthi @sva_haa @srijanshetty and Arnav for hosting this. Crazy how much work went into this behind the scenes to make it the banger that it was.

Kochi would give its left arm to host a Bangerlore. Bangalore is super lucky to have startup residency, hacker houses and a party like this in one city.

bangerlore was the longest most of the people there have spent away from their computers. mixed results.

Bangerlore v5 was wild. Met some amazing people doing quite cool stuff. Tons of hardware folks this time.

Why people are flying to the bangerlore house party from all over India.

I saw @curlsondaboard and @usefaff folks running around the entire time to make sure everything ran smoothly, and the hosts welcoming over 300 super passionate people into the space. Try doing it at this scale, I dare you.

One of the coolest things at bangerlore v5 was @usefaff running an IRL concierge. Get charger, power bank, anything, in minutes.

The 5th bangerlore is happening in Indiranagar. The 50th bangerlore shall happen on the moon.

15 years in startups, and last night's Bangerlore event was the first where I barely knew two dozen people. A clear changing of guard is underway.

I couldn’t explain to my bombay friends that I’m flying to blr for a single day to attend this party called bangerlore.

The energy at the bangerlore party was insane. Felt good to meet so many folks building in deep tech from India.

Saying this as someone who hated on the last Bangerlore lineup six months ago, before being corrected by people whose taste I trust that it was a legit good party.

People who have been to bangerlore are building autonomous drones and planes, making AR glasses, rethinking how medical care works, building critical financial infrastructure.

On Bangerlore. Was it performative? Probably. Was there gatekeeping? Maybe. It was a lame party by any conventional definition. And yet it was one of the best nights of the year.

A party by definition involves invites. Anyone who doesn’t like it should host an anti-bangerlore. But knowing Indian twitter, someone will be pissed about that too, calling it “gatekeepy.”

Thousands of miles away, on another continent, and somehow people at the best tech party in Bangalore still found a way to make me smile. “We missed you. Everyone kept asking about you.”

Bangerlore was genuinely more high signal than any SF party/networking event I've been to.

Met some insane folks at the bangerlore party yesterday. One common factor among them: all of them liked FMCG.

I don’t get the lot dunking on Bangerlore. For a dude fairly new to the city who moved here knowing nobody, it was the first room where I met 20 people I actually want to see again.
